Holy Eucharist & Healing

Join us on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM in the chapel. This is a simple, contemplative service with normally between 4 and 10 people which celebrates the Feast Day of a saint and has a special emphasis on healing. The homily is normally an informal conversation about the saint whose day we are celebrating and is followed by prayers for healing and an opportunity to be anointed with holy oil.

Whether you are looking for healing for your self, a loved one, or the world, you are welcome to join us!

Healing - Sundays at the 10:00 AM service

Good Shepherd participates in the healing ministry that Jesus began by offering prayer, anointing with oil and laying on of hands to those seeking healing. Members of the Healing Team will also visit in homes or hospitals to pray with those who are ill, preparing for surgery or other situations. If you wish to receive prayers for healing any Sunday, please proceed to the chapel area during communion. Healing Team welcomes your inquiries into becoming a member of this special ministry. Please contact Alex Lesbirel for information.

Beware of phone and internet scams!!
PLEASE be alert to telephone and internet scams. We have received information about a few phishing scams that send emails to parishioners as if church staff had written them. None of the Good Shepherd staff would never ask you to buy gift cards or other items for us. To be sure a message is real, always look for the @goodsheponline.org and not Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo, or any other email server.

AND...also be careful about phone calls you receive from callers identifying themselves as the IRS or Social Security. They will never call you either. And they certainly will not ask for credit card information or bank account numbers. Don't worry about being polite. Just hang up.

Church Online

Each Sunday, the worship service broadcasts live on our website, YouTube, and Facebook at 10:00 am. There is no livestream of the 8:00 am service. Visit our website at the link below. Please visit the Giving Page on our for ways you can be a beacon of faith, hope, and love.
