Help with Paying for Vaccines

The CDC’s Bridge Access Program provides no-cost COVID-19 vaccines to adults without health insurance and adults whose insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccine costs. This program is available through December 31, 2024. The program also provides resources for healthcare providers including links to vaccine sites that offer the bridge program as well as promotional materials if you are a site that offers this program.

The National Adult and Influenza Immunization Summit has put out timely resources for use in your vaccine efforts. The Get Adults’ Vaccinations Back on Track Tip Sheet provides recommendations and tools to help adults catch up on needed vaccinations. COVID-19 ED Visits and Hospitalizations Increase

The greatest number of COVID-19 cases continue to be seen in adults 75 years and older.

Long-term care facilities are seeing an increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases, reporting 9.7/1000 cases for the week ending September 17.

Vaccination remains a vital tool to protect public health. One dose of the updated vaccine is required for individuals to be considered up to date.
