Please join us for the opening of our Square Foot Fiber Art Pin Up Show 2022! This is the 10th-anniversary edition of this fun exhibition which is open to everyone and free to enter. The only two rules are that entries must be 12″ x 12″ or smaller (or, 12″ x 12″ x 12″ for 3-D entries) and they must include at least one textile technique. Otherwise, the sky is the limit! Come marvel at the diversity of the entries and the ample creativity on display and then vote for your three favorite entries. Leave inspired and, perhaps, plan your own entry for the 2023 show.

Harbinger of Spring by Roxanne Brown, a 2021 Square Foot Fiber Art Pin Up Show winning entry. Applique and thread painting with cotton fabrics and a variety of threads.

Roxanne says, "The arrival of Spring bombards all the senses. Red-winged blackbirds, joyful harbingers of a new seasonal chapter, usher in the season with bold flashes of red and with energetic chatter. In the Midwest, where I grew up, these beautiful birds were often the very first harbingers of Spring, bringing early vitality to the marshes and woodlands. This piece aims to capture not only the bold beauty of the Red-winged blackbird but also the rhythmic motions of the swaying marsh grasses and cattails.
