Both my lead stories come from last week. The first is an image quality comparison between different slow motion techniques in Final Cut. This compares standard slow motion, frame blending, optical flow and slow motion created using Topaz Video AI. Lots of options - each with trade-offs.
This next grew out of my commentary last week about "
What Worries Me About AI." Like it or not, we now share the world with AI. For many, AI is an intellectual exercise. But, for news and documentaries, where presenting "the truth" is essential,
AI is an existential threat. Given the exploding capability of AI, how do you convince viewers that your images and sounds are not fake?
