IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM DR. MORALES
Dear Our Lady Queen of Angels School Community,
We are blessed and privileged that our students have a plethora of opportunities to actively participate in athletic, academic, art-music, and other co-curricular events. Our faculty, staff and parent teacher organization continuously organize and implement many enriching activities. We are intentional as we evaluate the glows and grows of these many activities with the goal of improving these events. We are committed to the safety, security, and well-being of our students as they engage in these amazing learning opportunities.
Our Lady Queen of Angels Church and our School are partners as we strive to achieve our mission of “empowering and inspiring students through faith, knowledge, and service”. Our weekly Mass is a unique opportunity for our children to grow in their faith and to develop their Catholic identity. We will continue to encounter school community members and non-school members as we celebrate the Eucharist. We are confident that we have the appropriate procedures in place to mitigate any unexpected situation.
Our dedicated and well-organized Safety Committee will continue to identify and implement procedures and actions to secure the safety and well-being of all our school community members. We are in constant communication with our school resource officer, Mr. Andrew Shen, to seek and implement his recommendations on best practices in keeping our school safe. We are pleased to announce that Officer Shen will join us tomorrow morning for our weekly mass.
I ask for your trust and support as we collaborate to assess and resolve any challenge with faith, wisdom, and knowledge. I look forward to encountering our school community members tomorrow at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church.
