April's featured rescue
Meet Dunbar!
This handsome guy is 13 years young and rescued from a shelter in California. His foster mom says he is quite spunky and loves going for walks on a leash, is a cuddle bug in the house and will make a lovely companion once he's ready to go. Before we can send him to his forever home, he desperately needs a dental and neutering and a few other things. The vet has estimated $1100 for the work and we need help!

April's Happy Ending!

The two of us came together as a result of the graciousness of the staff at Pittsfield Humane Society, who had reached out to YTNR for assistance in fostering and rehoming Jax. I took him into foster care and this marks another foster fail for me. The three of us- Jax, Leaky, and me-- are a tight knit unit.

Thank you Mary Elizabeth!

(Actually, thank YOU Julie! We couldn't do this without foster and forever moms like you!)

Wisdom from supermodel Athena Maria Aphrodite the Goddess of Wisdom and Love
My mom says that there are a lot of little dogs out there who have been abandoned or just somehow gotten themselves in trouble. Maybe right now, they are in a cold dreary shelter. They might be scared or lonely needing someone like you to help. Mom says that since we're National we need people everywhere to help. Please go to our web page HERE and fill out a volunteer form and someone will call you.

Mary Elizabeth's Corner
Hello everyone!

Bella came into our rescue several years ago. We received a call from North Carolina that she needed emergency help to deliver her babies. I got in my car and started the long drive from my home in Tennessee to North Carolina and we met in a hotel parking lot in Asheville where Bella had already delivered her babies. On our long drive home it was obvious that Bella was too warm so Danny, my grandson, who had gone with me stopped at a pet shop and bought her a larger more comfortable bed for them to travel in.

Kori, Ashley, Charlotte and Pisqua all grew up and we found wonderful homes for them, Bella hit the jackpot and moved to Boston to her forever home where she was best friend and confidant to her forever mom, Dorina This special little one, sadly left us last week and left a trail of broken hearts for all of us who knew and loved her. The one thing we know for sure is that she will make a beautiful angel.

love....
Thank you to our donors for your continued support!!
