If you are Absentee Voting please be aware of the time constraint and write for your applications as soon as possible. You may need more than one application.

Please note in the Rules of Voting Rule 3. "Every joint tenant, tenant in common, or other person with a direct ownership of taxable real property located within the proposed sewer district may vote. In other words, each person who owns the fee to real property as a joint tenant, tenant in common or as a tenant by the entirety has an ownership in the property entitles them to vote. OPEN LETTER FROM

FINDLEY LAKE WATERSHED FOUNDATION

FLWF Members - Past and Present,

The Town of Mina is conducting a public vote on the formation of the Findley Lake Sewer District on October 21, 2023, at the Mina-Findley Lake Community Center located at 2883 North Road, Findley Lake.

The Legal Notice, Rules for Voting, and Rules for Voting Absentee can be found on the Town of Mina website : https://www.townofmina.info/

Since many of us are seasonal residents of Findley Lake, or for whatever reason may not be in town the day of the vote, we wanted to provide a direct link to the rules for voting absentee:https://www.townofmina.info/uploads/1/4/2/7/142714364/2211_001.pdf

Note that if you plan to vote by absentee ballot you wlll need to request an Absentee Ballot Application either by mail or in person (email and phone requests are not allowed). We urge you to make this request ASAP so there is enough time for the entire process to be completed in time. See the rules for details.

We, the board of the Findley Lake Watershed Foundation, as stewards of Findley Lake, believe the proposed sewer system is a required next step of a comprehensive solution if we hope to have significantly better water quality in Findley Lake for generations to come.

To learn more about how we came to this conclusion, please visit our main web page at: https://findleylakewf.org/default.asp

We ask that you will support better water quality in Findley Lake for generations to come by voting YES for the proposed sewer district.

Thank you,

Findley Lake Watershed Foundation
