A Time to Support Each Other
On Monday, more than 100 Brooks employees attended a professional development session with child resilience expert Maria Trozzi, M. Ed, to discuss how the Brooks community can best support each other during times of crisis. We have added her do’s and don’t guide to our school website under Parent Resources.
- Allow students to talk through their feelings and lead the conversation.
- Keeping structure and routine scheduling in place provides for predictability and stability.
- We are all in this together - students, families and faculty.
- Adults at Brooks are here to support our students and talk about their wide-ranging emotions.
If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s advisor.
