Mollie will review how to tackle your inherited photos so you can confidently sort and save the important items that tell your family's story. She will cover organization, scanning, physical and digital preservation so you can complete this important part of your genealogy work!

LOL 101: A KID'S GUIDE TO WRITING JOKES ON MAY 8TH

Ready for a good laugh? Join David Roth and Rinee Shah, authors of LOL 101: A Kid's Guide to Writing Jokes for a night of giggles and grins on Monday, May 8th at 6:30 PM. They will talk about their newest book and what it takes to create successful jokes. Kids will also have a chance to exercise that funny bone and write and perform their own jokes during the program.
Booksellers from Boswell Books will have books available for sale, and the authors will sign books following the presentation.

LEARN ABOUT BEES IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Did you know that 400 to 500 species of bees call Wisconsin home? Or, that one in four of North America’s 4,000 species are at risk of extinction? Join Wehr Nature Center Park Naturalist Brooke Gilley on Tuesday, May 16th at 6:30 PM as we explore our native bee species, and learn how we can apply conservation methods in our own backyards to help save the bees.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to WIN a wooden bee house, perfect for attracting bees to your yard!
