W&M announces comprehensive facilities plan for housing and dining
William & Mary unveiled a long-term comprehensive plan Thursday to modernize and revitalize its residential and dining facilities. The 10-year project is part of a comprehensive strategy to address aging housing and dining facilities and ensure they advance the integration of living and learning on campus.

“A welcoming residential experience for students is essential to a William & Mary education,” said President Katherine A. Rowe. “Consistent with Vision 2026’s goal of ‘Evolving to Excel,’ we will shift from planning to implementation this spring. We aim to ensure that university housing and dining facilities will enhance William & Mary’s academic mission for generations to come.”
W&M celebrates One Tribe One Day with record-breaking $3.8M raised
One Tribe One Day (OTOD), the university’s biggest day of giving back and paying it forward, reinforced once again the incredible generosity and kindness of the entire William & Mary community. Last month, more than 9,550 students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends collectively gave over $3.8 million to more than 730 areas across the university.

“One Tribe One Day is a special annual tradition — a time when we share our gratitude for specific programs and people in real and immediate ways,” said President Katherine Rowe. “We can see small gestures of enthusiasm adding up. We can feel the community coming together over the course of 24 hours.”
The Parents Fund
Sponsored by the Parents Fund
Thank you to the many parents, grandparents and family members who participated in this year's One Tribe One Day! More than 2,000 parents made gifts to more than 300 different funds at William & Mary on April 12th, unlocking more than $200,000 to the Parents Fund from members of the Parent & Family Council. The W&M family community is an extraordinary network of support for all students, and we are grateful for your generosity. Enjoy this special thank you video from the W&M Student Assembly president, Meghana Boojala '22! Managing Exam Stress
Sponsored by the Parents Fund
We're not working to reduce stress, we're aiming to manage it. Knowing that we can't feel stress about things that aren't important to us, when we have healthy coping skills we can manage stress in a healthy way, instead of being overwhelmed. The McLeod Tyler Wellness Center offers classes throughout the week, like yoga, art therapy, pet therapy, and more to help students develop healthy coping skills. If they haven't already, you can encourage your student to activate their FitWell membership to access our offerings. Visit 'memberships' at wellness.wm.edu or let them know to stop by our front desk for help.

Additionally, we are open throughout the summer and can meet with students in-person or virtually. They can schedule appointments through TribeCareers.
