Israeli Dancing

Great exercise! Great fun! Great chance to meet new people! Put on your dancin' shoes and come to our free Israeli dance class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join in the fun.

The Seven Questions You Are Asked in Heaven
Tuesday, March 29th // 7:45pm

When you get to heaven, what questions do you think you'll be asked about how you lived your life on earth? In the Talmud and through the centuries, rabbis have imagined what these questions might be. In this challenging, poignant and humorous presentation, we'll study text, share stories, and explore the concept of cheshbon ha-nefesh, a spiritual accounting of the soul.

Dr. Ron Wolfson is the Fingerhut Professor of Education at American Jewish University where he has been on the faculty for forty-seven years. He is the author of twenty books on Jewish Life.

ZIGZAG Passover Cooking Show

Mark your calendars and get ready for a STAR STUDDED cast of cooks! The theme of the show is “Lotsa Matzah,” and every recipe will feature matzahs as a main ingredient. Get ready to be informed and entertained on Zoom by short videos of delicious dishes prepared by both Co-Presidents of Sisterhood, the President of Brotherhood, the Cantor and the Rabbi. Our Star Studded Cast of Cooks will be on Zoom to introduce their videos and answer your questions. You don’t want to miss this, so register today!

Shabbat in Nature - Calero Reservoir

Join us for a Shabbat in Nature Passover experience this morning at Calero Reservoir. This an opportunity to enjoy nature with your Temple Emanu-El family, as we also think about what Passover means to each of us individually. Make sure to register to learn about the meeting location/parking for the walk.

Second Night Community Seder

Non-Fiction Jewish Book Club

Help Respond to the Current Refugee Crisis: Did you know that in Santa Clara County, Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley is one of only two nonprofits providing refugee resettlement and connected services for families and individuals?
