TEXAS STUDIO UPDATE
Studio work continues at a breathtaking pace, inspired as I am by my new surroundings. The subject matter of my work has always been rooted in places where I have lived or traveled. I now find that the natural world has crept into the geometry of my previous focus on urban images as a life-long New Yorker. In its place are scenes where nature and man-made structures interact, as well as those that focus on the natural landscape itself in all its glory. This unforeseen direction in my work has surprised and delighted me as I continue to explore memories of previous travels with new eyes while gathering exciting new visual experiences.

Thanks to all who have been sending good wishes and enquiring about my son, Dan, who underwent heart and kidney transplants in June, I am very happy to report that he is doing very well, getting stronger each day and is most grateful for this second chance!
