Special Fourth of July Hours!

In celebration of the upcoming holiday and to allow our dedicated staff time to enjoy the festivities, we will be observing early closure on the Fourth of July.


Our hours of operation will be from 5:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., returning to our regular schedule promptly the following day.

Personal Trainer Highlight: Meet Trent McCorkle

We are really excited to have Trent join our team of personal trainers! With a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and a background in physical therapy, he's a great asset to have on board. His skills include correcting exercise form, establishing proper movement patterns, and closely supervising clients who are working through recovery from an injury.


Trent's passion for movement stems from his upbringing on a family farm in Indiana, where caring for livestock instilled a deep appreciation for physical resilience.


Throughout his high school years, competitive sports further solidified his love for pushing his body's limits. This dedication led him to pursue Exercise Science at Indiana State University. This field delves into the science of human movement and the body's response to physical activity.


Trent is also passionate about mountain climbing. If you see him around the club, please welcome him and ask about his adventures climbing.

Meet Demi, a fitness instructor on a mission!

Join Demi for her barre class on Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in beautiful Studio B!

Demi is on a mission to get more OAC members to morning classes. She says, "It’s not just for the workouts, it's also about the camaraderie found in the morning groups and the empowering impact that morning workouts can have on your day."


Demi’s barre classes combine fluid movement and strength training to create a well rounded, full body exercise. She choreographs sequences that challenge both the body and the mind in an upbeat and positive atmosphere driven by music.


Originally from Baltimore, she felt drawn to the PNW to live near skiing and mountain biking. She builds her classes to perfectly complement her sense of adventure.


In addition to teaching, she works at a local design agency, Mentor Creative Group, as a product designer and moonlights as a professional plant-based baker. Previously, she founded Feed your Mind, a yoga and eating event series that combined her passions for yoga and plant-based cooking.

July Swim Lessons for Kids and Adults!

Celebrate the joy of summer this July by ensuring your children feel confident and safe in the water. Whether you're diving into lessons for the first time or preparing for the Seafair Triathlon on July 21st, our tailored programs provide expert guidance and effective training.


At OAC, we offer swim lessons for members aged two and above. Our dedicated instructors cater to all levels, from beginners mastering the basics to seasoned swimmers refining their technique. Yes, that means adult lessons are also available! 


Secure your spot effortlessly—enroll via the Mindbody app or visit the OAC website's Aquatics page today.


For family lessons, simply register one swimmer and notify Michaela to include additional family members manually. Although Mindbody doesn't offer a multi-sign-up option, we ensure every family member can join in the aquatic fun.

Mobile Body Composition Testing Truck

The mobile testing truck will be back at OAC on July 8th from 5:00-11:00 a.m.


This is your opportunity to get an accurate body composition reading using a float tank and/or a bone density test via a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan.


A DEXA scan can tell you about your bone health and risk of fracture due to osteoporosis. It consists of a low-dose x-ray of the wrist and takes less than 10 minutes.
