CITY OF AZUSA ANNUAL BUDGET RECOGNIZED
AT NATIONAL LEVEL

The City is pleased to announce it has been awarded the "Distinguished Budget Presentation Award" by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its Annual Budget for fiscal year 2022-2023. This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting and marks the 2nd consecutive year the City has been honored with the award.

"The award represents a significant accomplishment for the City. It is a testament to the excellent work of city staff who work diligently throughout the year to consistently meet our goals of ensuring financial health through public engagement and financial transparency," said Azusa City Manager Sergio Gonzalez.
CALL ATHENS SERVICES FOR BULKY WASTE PICKUP
Bulky waste collection is available for single and multi-family residents of Azusa every week at no cost; just call Athens Services to schedule. Bulky waste includes large items that do not fit into barrels or bins. Items should be placed curbside (not in the street) by 6 AM on your service day. To schedule a pickup, please submit a request at AthensServices.com/Bulky or call 833-791-2375 or 888-336-6100. Hazardous and e-waste are not accepted in a bulky waste pickup.
Keep your neighborhood clean! Do not abandon bulky waste or trash in the alleys or vacant lots. Report illegal dumping or accumulated trash/debris in alleys by filling out a report form.

ICE CREAM WITH A COP
Meet Service Area 1 Commander Lt. Jorge Sandoval at the “Ice Cream with a Cop” event at La Michoacana, 131 E. Gladstone St. (Edgewood Shopping Center), on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM.

In order to work together and keep neighborhoods crime-free, Azusa Police Department assigned a lieutenant to each of the Service Area Command sections in the city. SAC 1 is responsible for: South of First St, West of Barranca Avenue, North of Arrow Highway, and East of Irwindale Avenue. See you there!
