Dear Families of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School,

This week, I am sharing the remainder of the results from our Accreditation Survey. The final two sections explore 1) Administration, Communication and Programing Results and 2) Advancement and Family Involvement. As previously, the scale is from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). There is a lot to absorb in these two graphs. I am grateful that overall parents are very pleased with leadership, communication, safety, our Advancement program, social medical presence, and programs. However, there is always room for improvement. As an Administrative Team and faculty, we will continue to explore these results and ways to improve and grow as we prepare for our 2022-2023 academic year. The highest results in the entire survey were to the statement: ā€œI am proud to be a part of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Schoolā€ with a rating of 4.71 on a scale of 5. I am grateful for the message this sends about the connections, support and love of our families for our school. Thank you for your part in contributing to the success of our school.
Only by His Grace,

ļ»æVeronica Tucker
Principal

4TH QUARTER STEWARDSHIP PROJECT
This year, our 4th Quarter Stewardship Project will benefit St. Jude Childrenā€™s Research Hospital, through their Math-A-Thon fundraiser. This program is very special to all of us at our school because it teaches our students how they can make a difference in the life of another child just by doing math. At St. Jude no family ever pays for treatment, and we want to see their history of research and treatment continue. Please show your support for our school and the kids of St. Jude.
  • We will be holding this Fundraiser Math-A-Thon event entirely online.
  • Families will register each child online and collect donations online.
  • Please see the instructions below for information on how to register and how to navigate your online dashboard.
  • In your Green Folders should be a Math Funbook. We encourage you to find sponsors who will pledge to donate per problem completed or even for an entire completed funbook. If you choose not to donate, you can still use the funbook as a math resource for your child.

How to Register:
  1. Go to http://fundraising.stjude.org/ap-school
  2. Click ā€œRegisterā€ then Click ā€œIndividualā€
  3. If needed, please create an account in order to sign up.
  4. If you would like, set your own fundraising goal and choose whether you would like to give a personal donation toward your goal. Click Next.
  5. Fill in your childā€™s first name in the ā€œParticipants Nameā€ field. Additionally, please fill out your address in the spaces provided and choose the correct grade level your child is in using the dropbox on the bottom of the page.
  6. Click ā€œI Agree with the Terms and Conditions Aboveā€ and click ā€œComplete Registrationā€ on the next page.
Dashboard Navigation:
After completing registration, you will have access to a ā€˜dashboardā€™ that allows you to do the followingā€¦
  • The ā€œChange Goalā€ button will allow you to change the goal that you initially set in the registration process. Feel free to change this to any amount that youā€™d like!
  • The ā€œPersonalize Your Pageā€ option will allow you to edit your personal page to include any description you would like to share with your friends and family. This is the page that your friends and family will see when they want to make a donation to support your fundraising. Feel free to add a picture and/or edit the section on this page!
  • There is a ā€œCopy Linkā€ button that you can click that automatically copies your fundraiser page and will allow you to paste and send it to your friends and family. You can also click ā€œMake your page easier to findā€ in order to create a custom link to send to friends and family.
  • You can also follow any/all the ā€œKickstart Your Fundraisingā€ Steps on the page in order to promote your fundraising!
  • The navigation bar has an ā€˜emailā€™ button with email templates that you can use to promote your fundraising. Use this to quickly send an email to all of your friends and family in order share your link, provide updates, send thank you notes, etc.
Misc.
  • We will only be collecting online donations for the Math-A-Thon. Please do not collect and/or bring any cash or checks to the school for this project.
  • Ask your friends and family for pledges! Remember that every dollar counts! Ask them to sponsor you per problem or for completing the entire funbook!

Any questions about this project can be directed to Mr. Nestor Cayanan, Religion Coordinator at ncayanan@staopcs.org.
