Dallas County selects Texas PACE Authority
to administrator its PACE program

Today, Dallas County Commissioners approved recommendations from its Purchasing Department for the administration of the proposed Dallas County PACE program. TPA is honored to administer the County’s PACE program as a public service to the County and its businesses and nonprofits. Texas PACE Authority is pleased that its score of 93 out of a possible 100 points is the highest score among all respondents by more than 21 points. The County will take final steps to establish the program soon.

Dallas County’s proposed PACE program will follow the Texas model PACE in a Box underwriting and technical standards to ensure that Dallas County businesses and nonprofits have access to a high-quality program that delivers measurable energy and water savings. The state-wide uniform standards also mean that property owners can finance their qualified improvements easily almost anywhere in Texas and do not need to learn a new process in Dallas County.

To date, TPA has facilitated more than $190 million in PACE projects across the state and serves 71 county and city PACE regions in Texas.
