Resurrection Sunday
It was a wonderful privilege to be able to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with so many people on Sunday. We ran out of room at the 9:30am service and then had room at 10:45am. Next year, we'll do our best to better balance attendance across the services.
I was so encouraged to see so many of you greeting guests with the hospitality of Christ and demonstrating genuine love and care for those who perhaps felt a bit like an outsider as they entered our doors. Thank you for making it clear that everyone is welcome in the church because everyone is welcome at the cross!
The best news is we get to do it all again on Sunday, as we gather on the Lord's Day to celebrate the fact that "He is not here, for He has risen, as He said." (Matthew 28:6)
Throwback Service
Sunday at 5pm we'll gather on the lawn to enjoy a fellowship meal of fried chicken followed by a throwback service at 6pm. The choir, youth band, and Danny will be leading us in singing hymns. In addition, we'll have a time of testimony from Chuck Green and I'll bring a devotional study from the Scriptures.
Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket, a side dish if your last name begins with A-N or a dessert if it begins with O-Z, and come ready to enjoy fellowship and a time of worship together.
