Client
Warmer weather means different things to everyone. For me, it marks the start of baseball season (Go Cards!), grilling out, and making summer travel plans. And in my work life, it's also a great time to look ahead at the rest of the year and start planning client events.

Although we hope to host in-person events towards the latter half of 2021, for now, we've organized an online-only webinar April 29, 2021. After our fall client webinar, clients told us they were interested in a similar topic, but after the inauguration. We listened!

You're invited to Blattel & Associates' spring client webinar on
Thursday, April 29th at 7pm CST.

Experts from SEI will share insights on the market and economic outlook, as well as how Biden's policies may impact your portfolio and taxes. To RSVP, submit questions for our guest speakers, or request a copy of the presentation, please use the RSVP form or email info@blattels.com.

Warm regards,

Reminders
Deadlines
The IRS has extended the date for filing and paying taxes to Monday, May 17th. This means that you have until 5/17 to make 2020 IRA contributions. Now is also a good time to think about refinancing as mortgage rates are sensitive to treasury rate changes.
Taxes
Please review your tax return to ensure your qualified charitable distribution (QCD) amount is correct. Note that the USPS is experiencing delays and all tax forms are also available online via the SEI, First Clearing, and American Funds portals.

If you or your tax preparer need us to help gather any information, please give us sufficient notice to fulfill your request. Blattel & Associates does not provide tax advice. Please consult with your tax advisor with regard to your personal situation.

Breaking Away (1979) is a dramedy with universal appeal. It's popular with critics & audiences (earning a 4 star review from Ebert) & even has a family-friendly PG rating.
