This Week's Bell Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - Regular Schedule
Wednesday - Late Start
AP Exams - Week 2
Bring: 
ID Card, pencils (not mechanical), pens and snack in clear bags 
Only bring approved calculator or headphones if your exam requires it. 
DO NOT bring cell phones, electronics, study materials, backpacks, purses, or wallets. 

Morning exams - Arrive at the Fieldhouse at 7:30 am. You will be excused from your regular Periods 0 thru 4 classes. 
Afternoon exams - Arrive at the Fieldhouse at 11:30 am. You will be excused from your regular Periods 4 thru 6 classes.

SENIORS
Be sure to update your College Board profile to indicate which college / university you would like your FREE AP exam score report sent to.
The deadline is June 20, 2022. After that you will have to pay for this service.

PROM 2022
Prom tickets are on sale! Peninsula's Prom is at the Historic Belasco Theatre on Saturday, May 21 from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm. Ticket price includes dinner, dancing, games, pictures, activities and more! 

This week Seniors and Juniors may begin purchasing tickets for guests who do not attend PVPHS.   

Monday, May 9-Friday, May 13- Peninsula Seniors and Juniors may submit Guest Applications- $125 with ASB and $135 without ASB 
 
Monday, May 16-Wednesday, May 18- Last minute sales- Peninsula Seniors, Juniors and Guests- $135 with ASB and $145 without ASB 
Please make checks payable to PVPHS Prom.

Class of 2022 Update 
There are a few deadlines quickly approaching for our graduating seniors. As always, please reference the Senior Mailer that was mailed home and has been posted at pvphs.pvpusd.net under 'Panther Picks'- HERE
 
 
Posting of Senior Obligations 
Seniors who owe money for books or other items are on the Obligations List, which can be found outside of the Attendance Office. Seniors will not receive their Graduation tickets until those obligations are paid. Please check that list to make sure you do not owe money to the school. Thank you! 
 
 
Tuesday, May 17- Senior Ditch Day 
Students who have purchased tickets to Disneyland and California Adventure through the Student Store will meet at Peninsula High at 8 am to board the busses. They will stay at Disneyland through the fireworks and will return back to Peninsula High School at approximately 10:30 pm. 
 
 
Wednesday, May 18- Declare Day 
Seniors may wear attire representing the school or institution they will be attending in the future. Pictures will be taken at lunchtime. 
 
 
Friday, May 20- Memory Lane Posters Due in Student Store 
These posters will be displayed at Senior Sunset and Graduation on the football field. Please see page 5 of the Senior Mailer for details about how to make the posters. 
 
 
Wednesday, May 25- Seniors may request Handicapped Seating/Parking or additional general seating tickets at Graduation.   
Please see page 4 of the Senior Mailer for details. 
 
VIP Seating at Graduation 
There are a few VIP packages remaining that may be purchased by the families of seniors. VIP seating is in the first two rows of seats directly behind the graduates. The packages also include VIP parking. If you are interested in possibly purchasing VIP seating and parking package, please call Loretta Tsudama, who will be able to answer any questions you may have. Her phone number is 310-377-4888 x42723. Please note- money collected for VIP seating and parking goes directly to the school to help offset the cost of Graduation. 
 
CLASS OF 2022 – DUE MAY 13, 2022 
As you make your final decisions for next year, don’t forget to complete your Senior Year End Activity & Senior Survey on SchooLinks. This needs to be completed by May 13th. Please note this is where you will request your final transcript and provide approval to be included in Senior Destinations. Directions are available HERE.  Please stop by the CCC and talk to Mrs. Arico of you have any questions. 
  
  
CLASS OF 2022 SANTA MONICA COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE – On Saturday May 14th SMC will host an Open House on campus. Application and Enrollment support, financial aid and academic program information will be available. More information about the event and how to register can be found HERE.

Free Summer School Remediation 
 
PVPUSD is providing a free remediation program this summer for any students who have a D or F in a graduation/A-G requirement. Students will be able to retake up to two semesters (one course per semester), based on course availability. Please contact your counselor as soon as possible if you are interested in this free opportunity.   
Movie Night Fundraiser for Ukraine 
Attention Panthers! Are you looking for a way to help the situation in Ukraine but don’t know where to start? If so, SLL is hosting a movie night fundraiser to support refugees leaving Ukraine. All profits will be donated to the Blue Heron Foundation, an organization currently focusing on getting money, living supplies, and medical aid to refugees in need. But in order to keep that up, they need funding. So come with your family and friends on May 13th. Doors open at 6:30 P.M. The movie starts at 7:00 P.M., and bring a donation! Concessions will also be available for purchase. We hope to see you there! 
Service Learning Leadership Applications available now and Due by May 16th Do you have a heart to do good things in the world? Think kindness and compassion are important for our campus? Want to plan fun events and be a part of a class that is like a family? Apply for our UC approved Service Learning Leadership class! This class plans our Canned Food Drive, Blood Drive, and Walk for Life among other school events. We also participate in outside volunteer projects and let students' passions lead the way for our important work both on and off campus. This class is fun and bonds like a family. Student School Board Member 
Incoming Seniors and Juniors may consider applying for the Student Member of the PVPUSD Board of Education. The application may be downloaded here or found on our school website under 'Panther Picks'.  The application is due in the Activities Office, P115, on Monday, May 16th by 12:45 pm.  Applicants will interview with a Selection Panel, and the panel will choose finalists for this position. Finalists will then run in an election in which rising upperclassmen may vote. This election will take place on Friday, May 27th.

Upcoming Pops Concert - Orchestra AND Choir
