Budget Road Tour

Join the diocesan executive finance team (Bishop, Treasurer, CFO) for a breakdown of the proposed draft budget for 2024 ahead of our annual convention. Participants are welcome to ask questions and make suggestions.

The Executive Council reviews the draft budget at their October meeting and then presents a final draft to the annual Convention of the Diocese, no less than two weeks prior to Convention. Convention is the canonical body that adopts the annual diocesan budget for the proceeding year.

Healing Winds Conference

Learn more about and receive healing for others and self with the Rev. Dr. Sharon Lewis, Episcopal priest and featured speaker. The weekend conference retreat includes workshops and individual prayer time Sept. 29-Oct.1 at the Lake Junaluska Conference Center in Haywood County. Great experience for those desiring healing and those wanting to enhance parish healing ministry.  

Grants Available for Evangelism Projects

The Episcopal Church’s Evangelism grants fund local and regional evangelism efforts that grow Episcopal ministries, resources, and gatherings, and energize the Church to boldly and fearlessly share and celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ. Episcopal institutions are invited to apply for evangelism grants to support local and regional efforts to grow Episcopal ministries, resources, and gatherings. The application deadline is Oct. 13.
