Meet Ihsan
"My story of the United States begins when I qualified for a fully funded Community College Initiative Program 'CCIP' of 2015-2016 from Pakistan and came across to California and study at the beautiful campus Santa Rosa Junior College and to take a CTE certificate in Business Entrepreneurship. I was sponsored by the U.S. Department of States Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs and the program was implemented by the International Research & Exchange Board at the Santa Rosa Junior College with a cohort of 15 like-minded students from different countries. So, after serving my government for five years I became very passionate, to begin with, a new journey of my life and that is a doctoral degree that I designed to get as an Interdisciplinary nature and I was accepted as a research assistant in 2021 at the OHIO University in Athens Ohio, United States. Returning to the United States in Ohio reminds me of my early college days that I spent in Santa Rosa California in the neighborhood of Junior college. I miss the campus and my memories there and I am planning to visit this summer SRJC and thank my professors who were a part of my academic and professional journey in the United States."
