Special Offering for Ukraine Refugees
Sunday, March 20
Christ Covenant Church will take a special offering for Ukrainian refugees on Sunday, March 20, during our morning worship service. The special offering will go to the MTW Ukraine Crisis Church fund and 100% of your gifts will go to Ukrainian refugees. Missions to the World (MTW) is the mission organization that is part of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) and plants and revitalizes churches and ministries worldwide. As Ukraine faces the devastating reality of a Russian invasion, MTW missionaries and members of 15 partner churches of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine are on their knees seeking the Lord’s mercy, protection, and wisdom. The MTW churches in western Ukraine are caring for refugees moving toward the border and into neighboring countries and working with them to provide aid and resources to believers and the surrounding community, both inside Ukraine, and across the border. Your financial gift will provide food, shelter, clothing, and other essentials to those in need. Let’s continue to pray for MTW and for the supported workers and churches in this part of the world.

The special offering will be taken toward the end of the morning worship service. Please place all special offering gifts in an envelope (found in pews) and label it ‘Special Offering’ before placing your gift in the offering bag. You can also give your gift in one of the tithe boxes located inside the sanctuary at our main doors in the north, south and toward the main lobby. You can also give online by clicking here. Thank you for your gift!

The day is divided into 30-minute segments for individuals to sign up and pray for supported workers and for the needs of the congregation. You can select the time that best fits your schedule by clicking here. We also hope you will take time to submit your confidential prayer requests either online by clicking here or by email at prayer@christcovenant.org. Prayer cards may be found in the pews and may be turned in at one of the offering boxes located inside the sanctuary by the main exits. Your pastors and staff are continually praying for you!

New Books in the Book Nook
Jonathan Gibson’s new devotional Be Thou My Vision: A Liturgy for Daily Worship is a 31 day guide to personal or family devotions. Cloth-bound and set on linen paper, the quality of the material speaks to the gravity and worth of the content. Pastor Kevin has likened it to being a “Presbyterian Book of Common Prayer.” Cost is $20 per book.

Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones’s Studies in the Sermon on the Mount is a helpful companion to Christ Covenant’s evening sermon series. It is written with the doctor’s typical edifying style. Pastor Kevin highly recommends this volume. It is 585 pages and costs $28. John Stott and Sinclair Ferguson’s smaller books on the Sermon on the Mount are $8 and $10, if you are looking for something more compact. These can be found in the Book Nook located in the main lobby of the worship center.
