Know Your Schedule
Stay informed about your class schedule. Some online classes follow a synchronous format, meeting weekly at specific days and times, while others offer asynchronous learning, allowing you to study at your own pace. It's important to check your schedule in eServices to determine which classes require your attendance at specific times, and which ones are self-paced. Be proactive and mark your calendar accordingly to avoid any confusion or missed deadlines.
On Campus Classes: Your classes may have different terms (ex. Eight Week - First, Eight Week - Second, Other Term), so check your schedule and the academic calendar for the exact dates.
Online Classes: Online classes are offered via Canvas, Los Rios' online learning management system. Regularly check Canvas starting Monday to see when your class is “live”/published.
Don’t see your class? To view unpublished classes, click on the Courses icon and select All Courses. If you see your class listed as unpublished, you are enrolled and active in the class, but the course isn't live yet. Check back again soon to see if the course is live. If you have any questions, contact your instructor.

What’s a Waitlist?
When a class fills up, students may join the waitlist of a maximum 20 students. The waitlist status of a class changes throughout the enrollment period so make sure to regularly monitor your class status. If your professor gives you a permission number to add the class, follow these Use Permission Number/Enroll from Waitlist Instructions for eServices support.
