Please help nominate Jefferson Elementary candidates for the PTA Honorary Service Award (HSA)
The purpose of the HSA is to recognize an individual for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them. This person has given continuously of their volunteer time to benefit our children. The HSA recipient will be selected by a nominating committee and forwarded to Redondo Beach PTA Council for approval.
The award will be given at a Redondo Beach Council Awards Night ceremony on May 30th, 2023.

JEFFERSON FARMER'S MARKET | |

Jefferson's Green Ambassadors and the Beach Cities Health District are holding a Farmers Market. This event will take place right after school on the blacktop from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. At the Farmers Market, we will have produce for sale*, drop-in Zumba sessions, activities and more.
*A variety of items will be sold for $1
Proceeds will go to the Green Ambassadors' community service project

We are providing pages in the Yearbook for parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. to send a special note or words of encouragement to our students, teachers, and staff members.
Love notes will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis for $3 starting NOW through April 3.
Please make sure you proofread your message before sending. Please stick to 140 characters or your message may be truncated.

Last week, Skechers presented RBEF with a check in the amount of $317,286 for our 4611 RBUSD walkers in the 2022 Skechers Friendship Walk!

In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Curtis Tucker Community Wellness Center is hosting a special Food Distribution and Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. QPR Suicide Prevention Training - Open to all Parents
April 17, 5-7pm
QPR Suicide Prevention Training helps individuals recognize warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone to help. Increase your skills to engage the suicidal person to discuss their distress, provide hope, and refer to those who can formally assess and intervene with the suicidal individual.
