Happy News for Orion + Lottie! 😍

We’ve got great news to share about a couple of our latest newsletter features! Not only are Lottie and Orion feeling much better, they are thriving in their foster homes! 💚 These two are proving, once again, just how resilient animals can be!

Another sweet soul that recently came to us is now named Griffin (#SavingGriffin). If you follow us on social media, you might have already heard his heartbreaking story of a horrific injury that critically damaged his paw to the point where it couldn't be saved. 💔 Unfortunately for Griffin, more challenges lie ahead… During his exam, unusual lesions were noted on his snout, which lead our veterinary team to run some additional tests. Poor, sweet, gentle Griffin has a fungal infection which is highly contagious, putting him on strict quarantine with a treatment plan in place.

Due to this, his overall recovery has been prolonged from surgery as he fights off this additional fungal infection. However, the fact that Griffin has survived through his initial trauma — we have no doubts he will overcome this obstacle just the same. We hope you’ll keep rooting for him! 💓

There are so many animals out there right now that need our help. These are just three of 550 animals currently under our care! Our shelters and foster homes are full of animals. Each and everyone of them has faced a challenge in some way or another and each and every one of them is deserving of a second chance.
