1) Financial Aid Requirement(s)

Promise students must complete their 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 Financial Aid application (CA Dream Act or FAFSA). An incomplete financial aid package (including verification documents) will prevent students from being eligible for the North Orange Promise Fee Waiver.

2) Graduating this Spring?

If you are ready to graduate in the Spring, the deadline to submit your graduation is February 16, 2023See a counselor for help with the application.

  • Do you know your major and your degree/transfer goal? Create a comprehensive SEPP plan! First, check your DegreeWorks.

Upcoming Promise Events!

We are hosting our 2nd annual Sweets 4 Scholars event to recognize students who received a 3.0 GPA or higher in Fall 2022!


Stop by the Promise & First Year Support Center on February 15th and 16th to pick up your certificate, enjoy sweet treats, and take photos to remember this accomplishment!

On March 8th, 2023, Promise Scholars placed on academic/progress probation will be invited to create a vision board, connect with campus resources and receive support from the Promise team.



Males of Color will be invited to meet 1:1 with a Promise Coach to go over academic and personal goals. More details to come!

Please note that the Promise Fee Waiver and the CA College Promise Grant (CCPG) from Financial Aid are two different forms of tuition support. Log into the Promise Canvas for a breakdown of the differences, resources, and contact information.
