The Department of Spanish & Portuguese, Center for Ethnic Studies, OSU Libraries, and CLAS are partnering to offer two events on Latinx Digital Humanities intended for OSU faculty, postdocs, and graduate student researchers.
On Wed, April 20 (4-5:30pm), Drs. Carolina Villarroel and Lorena Gauthereau will give a lecture entitled "Doing Work that Matters: Latinx Archives, Digital Humanities, & Community Work".
The following day, Thurs, April 21 (10am-1pm), they will hold a complementary workshop entitled "Latinx Digital Humanities Workshop: Contesting the Historical Record with Digital Tools". Attendance will be capped at 25 participants, so register if you wish to participate.
Both events will take place in-person in the Research Commons (3rd floor) of the 18th Avenue Library.
