The Globe and Mail- A COVID-19 vaccine mandate for truckers crossing into Canada from the United States came into effect on Saturday, raising worries about future disruptions to the supply chain as the pandemic drags on.


Transport Topics- The Supreme Court on Thursday blocked President Joe Biden's vaccine or testing requirement aimed at large businesses, but it allowed a vaccine mandate for certain health care workers to go into effect nationwide.

Reuters- Unvaccinated Canadian truckers
re-entering Canada from the United States must get tested for COVID-19 and quarantine themselves starting January15, the Canadian government said after the Canadian border agency dropped the rule.

Canadian federal government ministers issued a statement saying the Canadian border agency made an error when it said those requirements were dropped.


CNN- Health insurers must cover the cost of home Covid-19 tests starting January 15, the US Department of Health and Human Services announced.

The new requirement means that most consumers with private health insurance can buy at-home tests online or in stores and have them paid for at the time of purchase or get reimbursed by submitting a claim to their insurer.
