GLENDALE UNIVERSITY RESUMES!
Glendale University 101 (GU101) is a ten-week program sponsored by Arizona State University that is open to everyone who resides or owns a business in Glendale. During the 10-week program, participants learn more about the city’s innerworkings and get an inside look at each department’s operations, as well as meet the staff who make it all happen. Each week’s class will be held in a different facility in the city and will include a tour of that facility.

The Spring 2022 GU101 classes will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning March 2, through May 4, 2022. The program is free and limited in size to encourage interaction among participants and the city staff who teach each unit. To participate in GU101, you must be a Glendale resident age 18 or older or own a business in Glendale. Attendees who complete eight of the ten GU101 classes will be honored during a GU101 graduation ceremony held on the final night of class.

Space is limited to 40 participants. Register today!

Free Feral Cat Resources for Glendale Residents

Outdoor cats include community cats (stray lost and abandoned pet cats and unsocialized feral cats) as well as owned cats that are allowed to roam. Reducing the number of community cats and managing their care is the goal of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs. The goal of the TNR programs is to get as many of these outdoor cats, spayed and neutered as possible to control breeding. To contact someone to assist with a Feral cat issue in your neighborhood at no cost, please click Here. Once you complete the online TNR form, someone will follow up with you within two business days. For additional questions or concerns, please contact my office at (623) 930.2221 .
