Bilingual Camp's First Year a Big Success


Camp Henry welcomed nearly 50 youths from our Latino community for the first-ever Bilingual Camp the week of July 24. Bilingual Camp started as a small idea that engaged many and developed into an amazing summer camp experience for Latino/Hispanic youth, their families, diocesan staff, camp staff, and volunteers.

Parishioner Creates "Life Quake" Support Community


Randy Siegel, a member of Trinity Church in Asheville, recently started a Facebook group for those who may be experiencing a “life quake.” Life quakes are those few times in our lives that shake us to the core and invite us to transform our lives. By being present, we open ourselves to the gifts of deeper personhood, purpose, and peace.

St. Phillip's Shows Love to Incarcerated



The Justice Ministry team at St. Phillip's, Brevard is part of a community effort to help incarcerated individuals get back to life after being released from prison. Funding from a diocesan grant recently helped this effort. The article at the link was published in a recent edition of Brevard's local newspaper, the Transylvania Times.

Volunteer for the Cold Mountain Music Festival


Sign up to serve at the Cold Mountain Music Festival and enjoy at weekend at Lake Logan. Volunteers can sign up for a four-hour shift on any day of the festival weekend, Friday through Sunday, August 11–13. Volunteers get free entry to the festival and may camp on site or stay in the dorms as availability allows.
