San Gabriel, Calif. - The City of San Gabriel and the San Gabriel Human Equity, Access, and Relations (HEAR) Commission will be hosting a free Mental Wellness Expo on Sunday, September 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Arbor in the historic Mission District.
Residents and community members will be able to access mental health resources and information at the event. The expo will feature workshops and presentations made by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health in English, Mandarin, and Spanish. They will be covering topics such as grief and loss, childhood anxiety and depression, and anxiety disorders.
There will be resource booths available by community groups such as California Phones, Chinatown Service Center, WellCare Healthplan Inc, New York Life, South Asian Network, and YWCA San Gabriel Valley. Attendees can also enjoy giveaways, as well as other fun activities for kids and adults.
