UC Moves 2024: Berkeley Moves More Together

Thursday, June 6 | 12:10-1pm



There is still time to join us for our annual UC Moves campus event! This event is a great opportunity to join your campus community for an energizing gathering with giveaways, prizes, activities and more! Group walks will depart from one of four campus locations at 12:10 pm and will converge upon the Campanile to finish. Check the flyer and registration page for location details.


Can't make it to the main event, no worries! We've got you covered with options to keep the energy flowing all day long! Take your pick from 10, 15, or even 20-minute bursts of dance, gentle stretches, or tranquil walking meditations. Let's make every moment count, whether you're with us in person or rocking your moves solo!

Become a Wellness Ambassador!


Calling all staff and faculty! Do you have an interest in health and well-being? Do you want to help create a healthy workplace culture? If you answered YES, then consider becoming a UC Berkeley Wellness Ambassador!


Any UC Berkeley faculty or staff can volunteer to become a wellness ambassador. Their role is to promote health and wellness programs to their co-workers, department, or friends on campus and their time commitment is about 1 hour each month, for a minimum of one year.

Za’atar Hummus and Pita Chips 


Za’atar is a popular spice mix in many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cultures. Although there are regional variations, it often includes dried oregano, thyme, and/or marjoram, sumac, and toasted sesame seeds.  In these recipes, you can use it to flavor homemade (or store bought) hummus and pita chips.
