Reregistration

Thank you to everyone that has reregistered for the 2022–2023 school year. Please remember, if you do not reregister by March 15th, we cannot guarantee your child’s seat for next school year. We have some grade levels that are close to full and we want to make sure your child has a place if you plan to return.

Also, the reregistration fee is due by March 15th. If you requested to be invoiced by FACTS, you will receive the invoice on March 15th. If you prefer to pay in the office, please pay by March 15th. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Penny Wars /

Recess Equipment Progress

We are happy to report that the kids have been enjoying the new basketball hoop, balls, and chalk that we’ve supplied. We have also ordered a volleyball net, and large scale Connect4 games. Some of our Eagle Scouts plan to paint lines for 4-square and other games on the street, and create another area that offers hopscotch. We are researching additional items, and will keep you posted of all the wonderful additions and improvements made possible by funds raised during the PTG Penny Wars.

Praying for Peace in Ukraine

Mrs. Julia Kordesich, 8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School, is a Ukrainian American and has led the school’s morning prayer in Ukrainian at school each day since the Russian invasion. She has given an introduction to the children, imploring them to pray for the families in Ukraine.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

thy kingdom come;

thy will be done;

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation;

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

First Communion

Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.

Sacred Heart Church

Please report to Sacred Heart School at 11:00 a.m. Students will report to room 110 or 108 based upon seating for mass (to be determined at the retreat and rehearsal). Communicants will walk over to Sacred Heart Church by 11:15 a.m. (outside if weather permits, or via tunnel if inclement weather)

A parent information session will be scheduled in March after First Reconciliation. By then we hope to have a better idea of the COVID restrictions that will be needed for mass. That call will likely take place over Zoom. If restrictions lessen, we will conduct the meeting at Sacred Heart Church. More will be discussed at the First Reconciliation sessions for the latest, up to date information — including seating arrangements for the mass.
