Participate in the 2022 Arturo L. Jaramillo Clerkship Program
- Does your firm, business, or organization want to be part of an ABA Awarded program? It's the only one of its kind in the country!
Arturo L. Jaramillo, the first Hispanic president of the State Bar of New Mexico, developed the Summer Law Clerk Program in 1993 to offer UNM Law School first year law students of diverse backgrounds the opportunity for a full time paid summer clerkship as a 1L. It provides a foundation for the students' law careers and promotes equal employment opportunities for persons who have historically been under-represented in the legal profession.
The Arturo Jaramillo Clerkship Program creates employment opportunities in medium and large law firms, state and local public agencies, and corporate law departments in New Mexico by providing a summer law clerk experience for motivated and deserving law students who meet the programs eligibility criteria.
