Help Chilmark Community Center Find An ED

Dear MVBLM,

We're getting closer. April is around the corner and we'll soon be seeing each other again. We're working on organizing a bail out training in June which we hope will include a tour of the Dukes County jail. And, look for more information about supporting bringing Neighborhood First to the island in early summer.

As you may have heard, the Chilmark Community Center is looking for a new Executive Director. Please share this overview with your network to help them fill the position.

CHILMARK COMMUNITY CENTER - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
CCC is seeking an Executive Director to lead its Summer Program; a leader with extensive experience working with children of all ages and with adults, in developing and implementing creative and culturally sensitive programs, in managing a non-profit, and who is passionate about building a diverse and inclusive community. The CCC’s Summer Program runs for seven weeks and welcomes approximately 200+ children ages 3-1/2 - 14 year olds each week, and hires about 65 counselors for the summer. We are looking for a candidate who will bring the creativity and vision necessary to build on the strong history of the CCC to maintain the organization’s relevance to a changing island population in a changing world. The ideal candidate is a creative leader who loves working with children and adolescents, and inspires others to share their vision. Part time position; excellent pay based on experience.
