Dear Parents,

This week was filled with learning fun as our oldest kids celebrated the 100th day of school. The day was filled with fabulous educational and fun counting activities. This week I also had the opportunity to be in the Science Lab with Brown Door. Students learned about sorting and were super scientists as they sorted a huge box of colored plastic recycled lids. After they took the sorted lids outside and made a ginormous graph representing the number of each color. The blue lids had the most with 100.

This week our Rainbow, VPK and K/1 classes had an on site fieldtrip on the Jungle Gym. Everyone had a wonderful time as they exercised on the bus. Students also began getting ready for their Valentine's celebrations by decorating bags.  

Please remember to send in Valentines with your child Monday or Tuesday next week. Simply write your child's name on all the Valentines to make it easier for them to pass them out to their friends. No Candy please.

If you signed up to participate in the Friendship Fruit Salad, please hand those items to someone at the front door on Tuesday and they will get them to your child's class.

Finally if you have not turned in your signed permission form for the Colgate Bright Smiles program to take place on Wednesday, please send it in on Monday. It is a wonderful event!
