Sunday! Spring Greening: Reuse and Recycle

This huge, four-hour reuse and recycling drop-off event is located in two separate parking lots on the west side of the Westfield Old Orchard shopping center.

Stations include:

Document Destruction; Electronic Waste; Prom Dresses & Accessories; Clothing & Shoes; Bicycles; Sports Equipment; Ink & Toner Cartridges; Baby Supplies; Fluorescent Bulbs; Paper; Cardboard; Batteries; Fire Extinguishers; Holiday Lights & Extension Cords; Scrap Metal and Propane Canisters; Housewares, Small Appliances & Children’s Items; Eye Glasses & Hearing Aids; Medications; Building Materials & Tools; Latex & Oil-Based Paints. Weber Park Golf Course opens on Monday, April 3

Clean up your golf clubs and get ready to play a quick round of golf on Monday!

The district's Weber Park Golf Course is the perfect place to learn to golf or work on your short game. Located behind the Skatium Ice Arena on the northwest side of Skokie, the par 3, 9 hole course features bent grass greens, challenging sand traps, and beautiful landscaping.

The course is also home to the game of FootGolf, a golf/soccer hybrid sport with giant holes and a very small learning curve.

Bunny Fun: Egg Hunt & Dog Photos

Free Outdoor Egg Hunt

Bring the whole family to this free event and meet the Oakton Park bunny! The egg hunt will begin at 11:30 a.m. sharp, so don't be late! Bring your own basket.
