THIS WEEK'S MINISTRY MESSAGE

New ReCharge Classes Open to All Adults

This Sunday and next Tuesday, we will complete our current ReCharge groups for the current session. During our discussions, we came to agree that our faith makes it easy for us to believe with conviction that our God is a mighty and loving God. As humans, however, we felt certain that what we give in Christian love and faith pales in comparison to what we receive! The question we posited: How do we bridge the gap between what we would like our Christianity to be and what, in reality, we are capable of giving back? We all agreed that our collective participation in small groups like ReCharge strengthens us and with a renewed spirit we do our best Christian living throughout the week.

Care to join us? We begin our next ReCharge sessions on Sunday, February 26th with these classes:

Walk With Wesley hosted by Pastor Mary. For all newcomers and those who would like to brush up on a primer of Methodism. This class tells the story of John Wesley’s conversion to Methodism and the principals that shaped our faith practices. A Primer for practicing our faith. Classes will be held at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.

The Walk hosted by Allan McCurdy. In The Walk, Adam Hamilton focuses on five essential spiritual practices that are rooted in Jesus’ own walk with God and taught throughout the New Testament. Each of these practices is intended as part of our daily walk with Christ while also being an essential part of growing together in the church. Deepen your walk with Christ as we explore the five essential practices of worship, study, serving, giving, and bearing witness to our faith. Classes will be held at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.

Can’t attend Sunday morning? Allan will hold a zoom class for The Walk on Tuesday evenings at 7pm as well.

Learn to Play the Mountain Dulcimer hosted by Mike and Laurel Ebersohl. Music is a wonderful way to praise God. Mike and Laurel will share their gift of music as they teach you the basic skills you need to play this charming instrument. Register soon! Only four more spaces open. Bring your own dulcimer or rent one for $20 (refundable fee). Classes will be held at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.
