It was so wonderful to open another service with baptism this past Sunday! We praise God for Sawyer Hart (Ray & Kim), Mia Miltier (Josh & Mendy), and Jerry Rouleau (Pam). Please congratulate them when you see them. We also praise God for Jeff Thompson, who joined upon profession of faith at the 11:00 service. Please welcome Jeff to our faith family!

 

The Back to School Splash this past Sunday evening was awesome! Not only did we have a really good participation by our children and youth, but many parents came as well.  Thank you Lori Replogle and Rhys Everspaugh for putting together a great event! The response was so exciting that we have begun plans to turn next year’s event into a family fellowship that will both celebrate the end of school-summer and the beginning of a new church year. God willing, our new gym will be a big part of that celebration! Go ahead and put it on your calendar – August 13, 2023!

 

Folks, please tolerate me making another appeal to finish out our goal for building our gym. We are still about $89K short of the original estimate. We are waiting for the final bid from our contractor (which should come in any day), that will enable us to enter into a contract to begin construction. Someone asked me today if there was anything specific they could pray for me. My response was, “Pray that we will receive the donations needed to build our gym!” Please pray and give generously so that we can finish what we’ve started. If you have already given, please consider an additional donation that will help put us over the top!
