Season Scrimmage Play

The teams involved are: Eagles Gold, GMU Gold Rush, Mighty Titans, GMU Green Machine and some of the Eagles Red roster. Here are some highlight photos...

As the mandates began to lift, Marymount University offered a limited invitational tournament to a few teams to welcome the return of sport. Chantilly United, Eagles Gold, Fairfax Bulls, GMU Green Machine, Legends, Lightning, Mighty Titans and Timberwolves participated. The very special crew at Marymount did a wonderful job of showcasing inclusion and putting on a big show in the process - highlights follow...

While the 8 teams above were dueling it out at Marymount, another group of court warriors made their way to the beautiful new Paul VI campus in Area 14 to compete there... Athlete Update
-by Billy Duquette
Hi Area 26...On March 26 at the University of Loyola in Baltimore, Maryland. My sister Michelle participated in a swimming tournament for the Paralympics. She competed in 200-meter freestyle, 500-meter freestyle, and a relay where she was pair up with two other blind swimmers that would produce as a world record for that tournament. She had good times in all of her races.

Next month, Max and I will be starting a column of athlete profiles to let more of Area 26 know what we are up to!

Talk to you then,
Billy
