EDUCATION SESSION

New Horizons for Investing in Emerging Markets

Emerging market investments are becoming more attractive for several reasons. The re-opening of China and its projected economic development, a tapering of interest rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve leading to a potentially weakening dollar, and stable commodity prices are all pointing to opportunities beyond the domestic and European markets.

Other potential catalysts include rising bond yields around the world, plus new trade restrictions (including the prospect of a U.S. outbound investment screening program) and a favorable regulatory outlook. The resulting shifts in trade relationships could create opportunities as companies diversify exposure away from China and into other emerging markets.

Bring your questions as you take a deeper dive into the investment opportunities across asset classes in emerging markets.

Following the discussion, share your views with colleagues as you network over drinks and snacks.

You are encouraged to invite a guest in the financial services industry to attend, learn more about 100WF and become a member of the organization. Join 100WF here.
