Head of the Schuylkill
Congratulations to all that raced in Philly at Head of the Schuylkill! This was the first race of the season for the novices! THANK YOU to the parents for transporting athletes to and from Philly!

In addition, our Mercer Masters raced a Women's Four and a Women's Eight. Coach Brian and Coach Mike both raced (twice each) in Masters events and Novice Nate Myers raced with his mom in the Mother/Son double on Saturday - well done!

Some of these shift times may change slightly but these are the general shift times. You are welcome to sign up for more than one shift!

**Please note that (almost) ALL of these volunteer shifts will meet on the opposite side of the lake from the Caspersen Boathouse - in the Mercer County Park. This is also where ALL spectating will be. There are no spectators allowed on the Caspersen side of the lake!**

Head of the Charles
Congratulations to all the Mercer athletes and coaches who raced at Head of the Charles! It was a beautiful weekend in Boston where over 2,200 boats raced on the 3-mile course.

Women's Youth Four: 59th out of 84 boats (Yayla Tur, Bella Cardinali, Enise Kupa, Ashna Garikapati, coxn Jacquie Qin)

Women's Youth Eight: 9th out of 76 boats (Ellie Johnson, Ashley Rohloff, Eugenia Rodriguez-Vazquez, Shea Sullivan, Skyler Fong, Seher Talukdar, Yiting, Qiu, Carolyn Darcy, coxn Shreya Vemula)

Men's Youth Four: 8th out of 84 boats (Aniketh Karra, Brady Wojnovich, Chris Engelbert, Julius Boucke, coxn Gabrielle Zammit)

Women's Masters Double: 2nd out of 12 (with Program Director Hilary Gehman in bow seat)

Men's Alumni Eight: 2nd out of 46 (with Varsity Boys coach Jamie Hamp in 2 seat)

Men's Veteran II Single: 23rd out of 29

Several of our Mercer Assistant coaches raced in various boats at Head of the Charles as well! 

Allyson Baker (Girls Varsity Assistant Coach) was in the winning boat in the Champ 4 event!
Sam Altier (Girls Varsity Assistant Coach), Katherine Kelly (Novice Assistant Coach) and Al Kleindienst (Boys Varsity Assistant Coach) raced in the Men's Alumni 8, the Women's Senior Master 4, and the Men's Grand Master 8 respectively
