Santa Rosa Resolution Meet Recap
We commend our Pacific Masters members who braved the January 14th Category Three storm to compete at The Santa Rosa Masters Resolution Meet.

Neither rain, nor chilly winds, nor hail, nor gloom of clouds, prevented these swimmers from the swift completion of their appointed laps. The weather added to the challenges, but the new pool did not disappoint. We thank Santa Rosa Masters and our hard-working, volunteer officials. We heartily congratulate everyone who swam.
Check out the results.

Call for 2023 Coach of the Year Nominations
Deadline: February 17

In 2022, Pacific Masters resumed a more regular schedule and our wonderful coaches made sure we were prepared to race. Do you have a coach that went above and beyond in 2022? Please consider recognizing their efforts by nominating them for the Pacific Masters Coach of the Year Award (COTY).

Submissions should include a nomination letter along with a maximum of four support letters. A description of the award along with the nomination and selection process can be found here. More details can be found here.

COTY nominations are due Friday, February 17, 2023, and should be sent to the Chair of Pacific Masters.
From the Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Are you interested in helping Pacific Masters grow in a way that reflects the rich diversity of our region? If so, the Pacific Masters Diversity & Inclusion Committee invites you to join us!

We meet once a month, during which time we decide on, and work towards, SMART goals and have enriching discussions about creating welcoming and safe environments for all people to enjoy Masters swimming. In 2023, we will work closely with other committees to help develop Pacific LMSC strategies and programs.

For more information about the committee and what we have done, see the News and Happenings page on our website.
