Alberta Report
As the days get shorter & shorter and cool mornings become the norm here in Alberta, courses push hard to sustain their conditions despite the reduced staff that we all experience. After a cool spring and summer taking its sweet time to show up, the last 2 months have been extremely warm with very little precipitation in many areas. Turf was put to the test, but golfers benefited from some great days for golf.
Alberta events were a great success this summer as the AGSA was able to host all of its events in person with no restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits Survey
CGSA is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a Compensation and Benefits Survey this fall. The survey will be conducted by a third-party firm that specializes in compiling and reporting on compensation and benefits from various industries.

CGSA is looking to increase participation for this survey and to accomplish that is hoping to partner with regional / provincial associations to achieve a true depiction of current compensation and benefits for those working as golf course managers and maintenance staff.

Watch your inbox this fall for your invitation to participate. Should you have questions or concerns, please contact Kathryn Wood, CMP at kwood@golfsupers.com.
