THE CLOVER CHRONICLES
It's here and it's a world of fun! This year marks the 71st season of the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and Exposition.

The fair attracts millions of residents each year who enjoy thrilling rides, unique foods, and various concerts. But the fair is more than family entertainment. The fair is dedicated to enriching our community through educational opportunities that highlight South Florida's unique agriculture. It's also a showcase of the finest talents that Miami's youth has to offer.
PROS & 4-H Secure $12.5 million grant!
In an effort to increase opportunity for all, 4-H Agents partnered with the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department to secure a five-year grant from The Children's Trust.

Funding will support three new 4-H program assistants! A total of fifteen parks will host 4-H year-round for afterschool and summer activities. These programs will support the areas of Healthy Living, STEM, and programs for youth with disabilities.

Summer internships are back!!

In partnership with M-DCPS, 4-H will offer summer internships for high school students.

AgriTech & Food Systems Internship
Location: Amelia Earhart Park - Hialeah, FL
(8 positions available)

This internship will connect students with urban agriculture, with a focus on hydroponics and food security. Students gain essential life skills like leadership, critical thinking, and goal setting. Students will work twice weekly with local urban farmers at the George Washington Carver Agri-Tech Park in Overtown, Miami.
July 3 - August 7
Students receive: $1,500 &
1 honors credit
Eligibility:
Students must enroll for a pre-internship course.

Complete 150 hours

10-12th grade M-DCPS students only
