MISSED A PAST EMAIL?
Please visit the event website and review the EVENT INFORMATION and FAQS before contacting the National Office. We will try to make sure the common questions are answered there.

Each athlete email sent will be also included on the EVENT UPDATE tab on the event website.

RULEBOOK REVIEW
We have had a lot of questions into the National Office by lifters and coaches regarding rules for the event. The majority of these questions are addressed in the rulebook. Please take time to familiarize yourself with the rules to make your experience the best it can. This will be a very face paced meet with over 1700 athletes over the week. You are expected to know and follow the rules when participating in this event.

Please take a some time to review the Rulebook. Understanding the rules will help you have a better experience at Nationals.
WEIGH-IN REMINDER
A reminder: ONLY 1 person may accompany you to weigh-ins.

The one person limit includes waiting in the hall due Fire Marshall requirements. When you come to the weigh-in area, please wait/line-up down the hall on the left side (same side as the weigh-in rooms). There are other events going on in the hotel and we need to give those events the space to enter and exit their meeting rooms.

The Referees working weigh-ins will call out the Flight they are currently weighing in so you can move into the weigh-in areas when it is time. As a reminder, Flight A will weigh in first, then B and so on.

If you have friends accompanying you, please have them wait in the lobby area or have them visit our vendors.
WARM-UP ROOM REMINDER
  1. Respect the hotel and your fellow athletes. After you are done lifting, please use one of the garbage receptacles around the perimeter of the warm-up room to throw away your food, bottles, etc.
  2. Please take 2-3 minutes after each lift to unload the bar for the next athletes, either you your session or the sessions following.
  3. If you need anything, chalk, a collar is broken, need garages emptied, more water, etc, go to the score table and have them page the our staff. We are here to take care of you, we just need to know what if it is you need.
  4. There are rugs around the warm-up area to powder your legs for deadlifts. DO NOT powder over the hotel carpet. If you are caught doing so, you will be removed from the meet. The picture above happened at a previous National event. This is a cost that impact entries fees, etc when we have to pay to have the carpets cleaned. Help us keep costs down! Respect the venue/warm-up room as you would your home.
AWARDS - Don't Miss Them
ALL athletes who participate will receive a participation medal if you place 6th and beyond. (The podium finish for all events are placings 1st through 5th.) Please be ready immediately following the last deadlift for the awards ceremony to start. Each flight/weight class will be called to the platform at one time.

If you are selected for drug testing, you have the right to remain in the venue to receive your award. Please let the DCO (Drug Testing Officer) know you are planning to stay.

If you are unable to stay for your medal, please have a friend or teammate pick it up for you. Missed medals will not be mailed.

Team Awards will be done at the conclusion of each meet.
