Naturalist and educator Don Miller will talk about the preserve and its features. He'll share information about this location and the Flood of 1955, the railroad, and remains of railroad related structures. If you choose, a short, flat, easy walk will lead to a vernal pool with spring wildflowers along the way. This program is outdoors and takes place drizzle or shine. Bring a lawn chair if you'd prefer to be seated.

Join us for a guided hike and be the first to explore the new 127-acre Robert Mader Nature Preserve in Pocono Township. Acquired by PHLT last fall, this nature preserve will not open to the general public until later this year.
