Si View E-News March 2023

We are quickly headed towards Spring with daylight savings starting on Sunday March 12th, and Si View Spring/Summer guides headed to all local mailboxes the first week of April!

Other sure signs of Spring are the youth outdoor sports teams practicing on the fields, our outdoor recreation programs resuming weekly activities, and more visitors at parks. With our park spaces become more active, as an added safety measure, AED units will be installed this Spring at several parks, providing quick access in the case of emergency. The units were purchased with support from the Snoqualmie Valley Rotary Club and a grant from RMSA, thank you!

The top question of this season so far has been summer camps! Here are some dates to add to your calendars: Registration opens Friday April 7. Beginning Friday March 17, you can preview a list of upcoming camps on our website, and full listings will be visible Friday April 1, around the same time when guides arrive in mailboxes. We have a ton of options this year for sports, special interest, outdoor programs, and traditional day camps. Note that registration for summer swim lessons opens Friday May 19.

We are hiring! We are looking for new team members to provide our community with excellence in customer service and opportunities to experience amazing recreation and leisure activities. If you love to help people, we have job opportunities that were made for you. Current openings include a full-time Recreation Supervisor, and part-time positions with summer camps and events. More details available here.

See you at local parks!

Aquatic Center Planning Update

Save the date! We are hosting a community meeting on Wednesday April 19, 6:30PM. Please join us for a discussion on aquatic center planning. We'll share a summary of input received to-date, programming options, the state of the current pool, and most importantly seek additional input from you! The meeting will be hosted at Si View Community Center. You can also join the meeting remotely, via a Teams Platform link available on our website.
