  • The Christian Student Association - or CSA - is having its back to school meeting this Friday, September 9, at 3:10pm in Room B206, 2nd floor new wing. Come out all former and new members. Everyone is welcome and you do not have to be Christian to join. We have exciting guest speakers, movie nights, volunteering and of course faith and fellowship. See you there! 

  • Talk about movies with us at Film Club!  Film Club is having its interest meeting on Monday after school in room 246. All are welcome!

  • (NAHS) National Art Honor Society: Hello! We will have our first intro meeting to take care of some housekeeping on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 3:10 in room #210. Any questions? Email Ms. Kabat hkabat@hinsdale86.org. We hope to see you there!

  • SENIORS! It is time for Homecoming Court Nominations!!! CHECK YOUR EMAIL for the questionnaire with in order to place yourself on the list of nominees for the Homecoming Court. You will not be listed on the ballot unless we have received this form from you by 8:00 AM on Monday, Sept. 12th. Any questions, see Mrs. Cotter or Mrs. Hoeksema (Varsity Club sponsors).

  • Do you enjoy Hispanic and Latin culture? Are you looking to meet students who share in your hispanic culture? Come to HSA! Hinsdale Central's Hispanic Student Association will be meeting, Wednesday Sep. 14th at 7:30am in room 147. We will be discussing our upcoming events and Hispanic Heritage Month. Questions? See Mrs. Holland in the WL languages department. 

  • Welcome back home, Central! Homecoming will be here before you know it! Be sure to purchase your tickets for our Carnival Central extravaganza! QR codes can be found around the building but be sure to check your email for a direct link!

  • Interested in being a part of our Homecoming royalty this year? Let’s get this new set up started for a new year! Be sure to check your email for directions. Anyone can apply, and everyone should try! We’re so excited to show this place our Red Devil family!

  • Get involved in the performing arts community at Hinsdale Central right away at the start of your freshman year. Try out for the Freshman Play. It's a great way to make new friends and get involved in high school life. Auditions for this year's Freshman Play will be held after school in Room 181 on Thursday, Sept. 7th in room 181 at 3:10. There will be no preparation necessary.  If you have questions or conflicts....please email or find Mr. Woods in the Science Department (pwoods@hinsdale86.org

  • The first Friday and Saturday of school, come check out the theater group's first show of the year! Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes. It's experimental theater made up of short skits. The audience picks the order of the skits each night by shouting from a menu of pieces, so there's an element of improv and surprise each night. The cast has been working on the show all summer! We open Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 pm and Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5 pm. Tickets are free to students with an activities pass or $5 without. You can get tickets at the door or at ticketpeak.co/hcdrama

  • Attention wrestlers and interested wrestlers! Open mats will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15pm and Wednesday at 6am. This is open to anyone not in a fall sport. Any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Jason Hayes anytime.

  • All students interested in trying out for this year's Debate team--there will be an informational meeting on Friday, September 9 after school in room 295. The meeting will start at 3:10 and last until 3:40 pm. The process and dates for trying out will be discussed. Hope to see you there!

  • For any girls interested in playing basketball this winter there will be an informational meeting about pre-season workouts THIS FRIDAY Sept. 9th at 7am in Room 213. Questions? E-mail Coach Navolio or see Ms. Rogala in room 213.
 
  • WARNING! You are about to enter the RED ZONE!! Let’s show up this Friday and show off our Red Devil pride! RDN needs YOU! Meet at Lyons Township High School this Friday decked out in your red gear. THEY WILL SEE RED! Join the RDN remind for updates and info.

  • Any junior or senior interested in playing in the Powderpuff Game, there will be a meeting on Monday September 12th at 730am. Please bring $20 to the meeting to purchase your t-shirt. The game will be on Sept 19th at 7pm. Looking forward to another fun game!
