LICP's Life Sciences Career Open House Recap
|
Our Life Sciences Career Open House took place last Thursday, April 28, at Jacob A Riis Neighborhood Settlement, bringing together several businesses and organizations to discuss careers in healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, lab testing, research and development, environmental management, manufacturing, and more. The event attracted around 100 students and job seekers.

By 1921 Miller had four stores in Manhattan and another in Brooklyn. There would be an additional dozen sales outlets by decade’s end. In 1924 he completed his second shoe factory, a seven-story loft building that covered half a block in Long Island City fronting 23rd Street between 43rd Avenue and 44th Drive. Its address was 43-10 23rd Street.
